Take advantage of this great opportunity to enter an engaging, in-demand field! This online CPC course, offered through AAPC, includes all course preparation leading up to the CPC Certification Exam - the gold standard for medical coding in a physician office setting. Additionally, this course includes the Practicode CPC-A module, which upon completion, will remove the "A" (Apprentice) designation from the certification.

This type of access is happening in Westchester County, where the Westchester County Association, healthcare, biotech, business, and education sectors are all collaborating to grow the region’s vibrant Innovation Economy.
Here's your chance to brush up on Big Data and Healthcare Analytics! Back by popular demand, The Hudson Valley Workforce Academy is offering its previously sold-out course--Healthcare Analytics. This course focuses on the rich clinical and business sources of ‘Big Data’ available in the healthcare industry. Participants will learn the value of using data to make informed business decisions in the areas of operations management, planning, and strategic initiatives.
The course is designed for healthcare managers with little-to-no experience with analytics, and will be taught by various faculty and industry experts over a 5-week period at 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains, running Wednesdays June 29, 2016 through July 27, 2016.
Classes will explore specific topics such as the difficulties of managing and building data environments; the use of value-added classification systems; and the queries upon which decision support, epidemiology, and research capabilities are built. The fee is $595 per participant for this 5-week session.
