  • George Latimer to make first public appearance as County Executive

    In what will be his second week in office, incoming Westchester County Executive George Latimer will address the Westchester County Association (WCA) – the region’s preeminent business membership and advocacy organization

    The event marks Mr. Latimer’s first appearance before Westchester’s business community as County Executive. Mr. Latimer will discuss the key initiatives of his new administration and the region’s economic opportunities and challenges.  Latimer will set forth his vision and goals for the next four years in front of a crowd of over four hundred business and community leaders.
    The WCA has asked him to address his plans to: enhance the county’s economic development initiatives and establish public private partnerships; work with the business, education and medical communities to help fight the Opioid Crisis; and how he will utilize new technology to streamline and consolidate government services.
    “We look forward to hearing more about George Latimer’s vision for Westchester and to creating a dialogue with him around the issues critical to the region’s business community,” said William M. Mooney, Jr., president and chief executive officer of the WCA. “This breakfast will be the first step in a much larger effort to forge a strong partnership between the Mr. Latimer and the county’s business community that creates economic opportunity and elevates Westchester as the region’s best place to live, work and play.”

    • Include family members (even those living far away) in care decisions;
    • Bring care and monitoring directly into the home;
    • Access healthcare from remote locations without travel;
    • See a doctor without missing work or needing childcare.
    But will people use this technology?
