Keynote Speaker: Linda Sanford, senior advisor, IBM
Corporation, will deliver the keynote address. Sanford was responsible for
transforming IBM’s core business processes, creating an IT infrastructure to
support and integrate processes globally, and helping to create a culture that
fosters innovation. She is a member of the Women in Technology International
Hall of Fame and has been named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in
Business by Fortune magazine. Hear about her rise through the ranks at one of
the world’s largest and most influential technology companies, based here, in
the heart of Westchester.

Rebecca Sommi, senior vice president of operations, support, and engineering, Broadview Networks, for leading this information technology organization through one of the greatest technological shifts in history.
Andrea Soto, vice
president/chief of staff to the president of MasterCard Operations and Technology,
for leading a global corporate Women in Technology initiative.

passion for science, technology, engineering, and math(STEM): Brigitte Obermeyer, a rising senior at Briarcliff
High School dedicating her studies to becoming an engineer, and Lindsay Peckham, who
is pursuing a degree in Cyber Security at Westchester Community College.

EF Academy’s New 100-Acre Campus Brings New Jobs, New Students to Region
The EF International Academy, a for-profit Swiss school, is the new owner of the Thornwood Conference Center, where it will welcome 800 new U.S. and international students next fall. The private, international boarding school, which will continue to operate its facility on the former Marymount College campus in Tarrytown, also will be hiring up to 100 new employees. Marissa Brett, president of the Westchester County Association, calls the repurposing of the conference center great news for Westchester.
