    Call to Action Committee: Government reform at the state, local and national levels is the main focus of this committee.  It continues to push for lower taxes, less regulation, and pro-business government policies, and drives our government reform initiatives. During 2011, the committee:

    • Advocated strongly for and helped pass the 2% property tax cap;
    • Launched Let NY Work, a historic state-wide coalition of business, local government, and education leaders to present a coordinated mandate relief platform to New York State legislators, focusing on key cost drivers such as pension and healthcare costs;
    • Set forth guiding principles for Westchester County's 2012 budget that included a 0% tax levy increase, protecting our Triple A bond rating, and advocating for union concessions to offset layoffs and cuts to essential services.
