    The Westchester LDC was formed to provide IDA-style financing to nonprofit organizations for capital projects. The May 8 forum at the Westchester County Association will detail how the new LDC works. 
    real estate, and construction communities understand the LDC in greater detail. 

    Since its passage last month, the LDC has approved $128 million in low-interest financing to nonprofits for capital projects and job creation. New LDC projects are now moving forward in Mt. Kisco, Sleepy Hollow, and New Rochelle as a result of WCA advocacy efforts between the WCA/BLUEPRINT, Nonprofit Westchester, and the CIC. 

    Speakers include Dep. County Executive Kevin Plunkett, new IDA chief Jim Coleman, new Westchester economic development head Eileen Mildenberger, and the CIC's Ross Pepe. Additionally, finance experts from Key, M&T, and Provident Banks will be on hand to field questions.
