  • A Serial Entrepreneur Talks Tips, Triumphs at BLUEPRINT-Hosted Evening

  • The Westchester County Association convened over 35 area startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators at its first 'Accelerate Westchester' meetup on April 2. The lively discussion included advice from "serial entrepreneur" David Crane, CEO, Mobile Health One, who fielded questions on starting a business, and plenty of time for networking.

"We were thrilled with the turnout,' said Marissa Brett, executive director of the BLUEPRINT for Westchester, the WCAs aggressive economic development initiative. "There is clearly a need for these opportunities where new and early stage companies can connect with each other and address the challenges inherent in starting a business. David Crane offered some great advice to these entrepreneurs, which we hope will help grow their businesses, and help them take root in Westchester County."

The WCA launched the new networking group for its BLUEPRINT Accelerator companies, startups, and entrepreneurs who want to meet like-minded innovators. “Accelerate Westchester: Meetup. Startup.,” will offer opportunities to share tips, address startup challenges, and attend forums where entrepreneurs can bounce ideas off industry experts.

The next meetup is scheduled for June 4. For more information, email jdinardi@westchester.org.
