The Millennials like to walk. They also like to be close to the action. So, a new mixed-use complex in White Plains, offering market rate rental apartments, shopping, and parking—all within walking distance of the White Plains train station—may be just what Millennials are looking for. Construction on the project will begin in March 2015, heralding the revitalization of the city’s downtown district.
Registration is now underway for “Healthcare Data Analytics,” the pilot course for the WCA’s newly launched Hudson Valley Workforce Academy, created in collaboration with the region’s healthcare, business, and higher education organizations to provide employees with high-value training for jobs in today’s information-based, skills-intensive economy. The Academy ushers in a new era of workforce training, one in which employers have a real say in the curricula.
